New York Health Department and Beeyond raise awareness about maternal health

Beeyond had the privilege of collaborating with the New York Health Department in September to promote the “Hear Her” initiative, a multichannel campaign with DOOH advertising, focused on raising awareness among families and professionals about critical warning signs for maternal health.
At the right place and time
To reach both healthcare professionals and women in the community at key moments, the “Hear Her” campaign leveraged a hybrid Digital Out Of Home strategy:
- Point-of-Care Indoor Media: Specific placements in medical offices and clinics where women receive care.
- Outdoor DOOH: High-impact screens strategically located near hospitals and community health centers to maximize visibility and local engagement.
In total, the campaign achieved over 1.9 million verified reach across more than 270 digital screens throughout the city, with a strong focus on the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens neighborhoods.
Message & Targeting
By combining a contextual targeting strategy and local placement, Beeyond ensured that messages appeared where they mattered most, at key points of care and surrounding areas, when listening and providing necessary attention can save lives.
“We are proud to support the New York Health Department in bringing crucial maternal health information directly to local communities,” said Alejandro Donzis, CEO of Beeyond Media. “At Beeyond, we believe \-he stated\- that DOOH has the power to do more than drive awareness: it can drive change.”
The campaign’s multichannel approach successfully increased awareness among expectant mothers, families, and healthcare professionals, helping promote early recognition of maternal warning signs and available support resources.
